LIGHT UP EVERYDAY SURROUNDINGS

What if an air freshener could transform one's home into a holiday destination, and create a sense of well-being that could transport your mind to sunnier places? Or a fruity reed diffuser could create a great, relaxing feeling of respite and set the perfect mood for a placid slumber after a hard working day?

At Chemarome, our perfumers are working alongside our fragrance development teams and R&D scientists to harmoniously and carefully craft concentrated fragrances that light up our customers' everyday surroundings.

The Air Care industry is currently experiencing a boom. • They also serve to create an appealing or corporate scented environment in a chosen place.
  • Air Care fragrances tell us a lot about consumers personality or business branding identity.
  • MECHANISMS TO SCENT AIR:

Each and every Air Care system has a different mechanism and the formulation of the fragrances can vary a lot. Chemarome has fully equipped olfactory cabins in our applications laboratory, where we perform all kinds of evaporation and application tests to make sure our fragrances for Air Care evaporate adequately and pleasantly and have the desired long-lasting effect for the products in question.

    ODOUR MASKING

There are several systems when it comes to scenting air at the same time that we mask unpleasant odours:

    1. ADSORPTION

Adsorbents such as Silica gel, Activated Charcoal or Zeolite may be used.

    2. OXIDATION

Ozone, Hydrogen Peroxide, or any other oxidizing agent can be used to remove organic sources of odours.

    3. AIR SANITATION

Odours caused by airborne bacterial reaction can be eliminated through air sanitizers that deactivate bacteria.

    4. MASKING

Using another scent to cover up the unpleasant odour.

    5. BURNING

The smell is expelled when burnt. Bakhoor or incense sticks are typical examples.

  • Lavender has been the top global favourite traditionally.
  • Clean and fresh fragrances with links to different natural environments are predominant.
  • Exotic and luxurious scents, with a taste from remote lands.
  • Manufacturers are not sticking rigidly to recognized scents such as Rose or Vanilla anymore. They are going for a large variety of complex fragrances and originality is a must.
  • In most of the cases, the clients are encouraged to describe or design their desired scent, for a better personalization of the fragrance.
  • There is also a remarkable trend to go local, with scents based on regional preferences that bring memories of childhood or traditional and countryside life.
  • Spa style fragrances are also increasing in popularity for Air Care. They present warm and clean smells of pumice stone or thermal waters.
